In the present situation yes....in the Ideal situation need not...as they have more IMP responsibilities to do. They have to..will and definitely represent ...both houses in the coming periods .Wait and see.

By doing this what is to be achieved? is there a speicific reason or target for doing this? Why not a target like birth control to control the population?

Although the Constitution of India provides for better representation for women in the elected bodies of the country, all political parties have been shamelessly distancing themselves away from it. Many International Women’s Days have come and gone. Every time the leaders only talk about the need, but never allow the talk to take an action form. Do you think the long pending representation is ever possible?
