| I am new to this place and this is my first posting.
I think you people are complicating the issue for some intellectual mastrubation.
Doesnt matter who does house work, who provides for the family, etc. Everything needs to be shared by everyone in the family. If wife can provide for the family, she should. Not sure of how much people here know. But traditionally many women involved themselves in farming in India, thus providing for their families. If man can...he should. if both can, both should. It is left to individual families to decide. There is no general rule about who should.
Like everyone here, I am relieving myself too...not down there...but up my shoulders....

Wives do need to share the responsibility of running the family. Her basic & primary responsibility is house-keeping... including cooking for the entire family. She SHOULD respect her responsibility and serve the family to her best. Thats enough. World doesn't expect much out of her. If she serves her primary responsibility properly, that house will be a happy house.
