BJP good at formulaws and enhanced after the victory in Gujarat; There are some good reasons for the victory in Karnataka and a formulae is to be developed based on Karnataka which can be applied to the rest of India excluding north and south India.

To add to NTvODu,
4) Threat of privatization of few sectors like APSRTC(though this is not severe, it impacted)
5) Completely ignoring Retired State Govt Emploees, by not giving DA hike for long time, saying that he doesn't have money.
6) Electricity price hike - privatization of Electricity Board and re-naming it to some thing will not change DONKEY to a LION. A Donkey is a Donkey. The bastards in APSEB remained as they are and the corruption hasn't came down. This privatization didn't gave any fruits to public, moreover, giving constant hikes in bills.
