Yes madhavi gaaru is correct. High School Diploma in US is equivalent to 10+2(Inter) in india.
I came to know about this when I sent my intermediate transcripts for evaluation to WES. They sent me a result report in which it was written that Intermediate in India is equivalent to HSD in US.

I thought Associate Degree is given when you finish a 2-yr course or a certain number of units compared to a 4-yr degree!

But what level does it come to ? don't u need to pass thru AS to get to BS ?
If yes, is it not equivalent to Inter ?
