General Forum: Current 'Affairs' | Yester Waitress todays PM | |
| Guys!
Wat ur seeing is the result of the system (democratic)u chose for governing urselves and the truth is that this is the best possible option we have got now.and coming to
the point of sonia..well, ive come across multiple arguments in the likes of national security, indian pride, European dominance and wat not.All this is nothing but Pseudo
patriotism...for a moment realise that the the common man gave mandate by electing his
immediate governance (MP's) and they in turn are choosing their leader..Bottomline being
u always knew wat was in store...and now people r playing victim....which is quite sad.The title yesterday's waitress today's PM
itself is in very bad taste...These people who r crusading for a nonexistent and irrelevant cause are just trampling the sovereign franchise bestowed upon their brothers and this in large is a undemocratic sign.At the same time, it is yet again a highly amoral sign from the BJP to state that it would be boycotting the swearing ceremony....
Above r all personal opinions and in no way intended to hurt anybody/any party/anything...
ulysses

"Someone who is born in India, has his roots in India, but holds dual citizenship (in India and another country), does not right the right to vote an Indian election. But an Italian-born Indian who grew up in foreign lands, has her roots in Italy and holds dual citizenship, can vote in India and become India's prime minister.
How ridiculous is that?"

- We should appreciate if an waitress becomes PM but the problem here is she is not becoming PM(or president) to her own country but for our beloved country(India). What a shame for Indians :( Foreigners laugh at us definitely as we couldn't select an Indian as our PM.
If any NRI is supporting Sonia as PM, think about this: You came to USA or any other country as an NRI and became citizen to that country. In this case:
Do you leave your love and affection on your mother country? Definitely NOT.
Do you forget your loved ones in India and don't help them? Definitely NOT.
In the same way, SONIA will always love her own country and her own people, definitely not Indians.
Now I feel ashamed to go to India :(
GOD! If you can listen me - Please SAVE India AGAIN from an European rule. Please bring back our freedom.
