1) You're a young lawyer who could lose your job if you don't bill enough hours. All of your colleagues are padding their hours. Do you pad yours?
PROBABLY ALL OF US WOULD SAY YES SINCE PADDING UP HOURS DOESNT HARM ANYONE AT THE LOWEST LEVEL
2) Your next-door neighbour offers to hook you up with free cable television. Do you let him do it?
EVERYONE WOULD SAY NO SINCE ITS ONLY A TEMPORARY ADVANTAGE AND DOESNT WORK OUT IN THE LONG TERM
3) A friend offers you a dirt-cheap illegal sublet in a prime apartment building with a waiting list. Do you take the offer?
A DEFINITE NO SINCE ILLEGAL SUBLETS WOULD NEVER STAY WITH YOU FOREVER
4) You move to a state where auto insurance prices are sky high. Do you keep your car registered at your old address to save money?
YES YES AND YES ... CHEATING THE CHEATS (INSRANCE COMPANIES) IS NEVER MORALLY WRONG
5) You're an accountant who discovers that a company you're auditing is inflating its earnings. Your boss insists you go along or be fired. Do you comply?
NEVER NEVER AND NEVER .. DOESNT ONE LEARN FROM ENRON AND ANDERSEN?
6)You don't have enough money to pay your taxes. Your accountant recommends some made-up deductions, saying audits don't happen these days. Do you go along?
WELL IT DEPENDS .. BUT ONE WOULD PROBABLY SAY NO SINCE THERE IS ALWAYS A HIGH RISK ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
7) You're a doctor whose patient needs a treatment that is not normally covered. Do you lie so your patient will get the treatment they need?
NO, IF I LIE IN THIS CONTEXT I MAY GET SUED IN FUTURE - BETTER NOT TO TAKE CHANCES
) You're a car salesman paid on commission. All the other salesmen are saying that the next shipment of the hot new model everyone wants is due in three weeks, but it's really six weeks. Do you tell potential customers it's three weeks?
YES .. HAHAHAHA ... I KNWO ITS WRONG BUT I WOULD STILL SAY ITS "AROUND" 3 WEEKS :P
9)You're a high-school junior who has to get an A on your final paper or you'll lose your 4.0 GPA and access to scholarships you need to pay for college. Your classmates have been bragging about their grades on papers they downloaded from a Website. Do you download a paper, too?
MAY BE I WILL .. I PAID BIG PRICE IN MY CHILDHOOD FOR BEING "TOO ETHICAL" AT THE EXAMINATION HALL.. I DONT WANNA BE A FOOL AGAIN .. ONC EBITTEN TWICE SHY :)
So 3 AIYES, 4 NOs and 2 MAY BEs .. What does it make me - A TP Discussion Board Member? :p
