While I doubt the veracity of the Tajmahal story, there are a number of instances where the atrocities committed by Mughals and their Central Asian predecessors are clearly and gleefully recorded in their own "chronicles of victory".
We are constantly lectured that these same mass-murderers were icons of peace and their rule the pinnacle of tolerance!! If you even question that such events happened, you are branded a Hindu fanatic!!
At the same time, we are told that Sanskrit which is our common heritage is some kind of foreign oppression!! Nowhere in our religious literature is the term "Aryan" used in with a racial purport.

I read about the tajmahal and redfort controversy in a website.. Maybe he (the auther) is right.. In that case, all the history we studied about the mughals in our school text books is wrong.. If correcting that history is labeled as Safronisation, then the current education would be called congressization (because it is the congress party that tried to suppress the facts)...

The problem is not "Saffronization" - Saffronization was a REACTION to extreme "Whitewashing" indulged in by the successive Congress Governments and the perpetual monopoly of the "socialist-marxist" "eminent scholars" of JNU extraction over what is taught as History.
The problem is that these "eminint historians" go to great pains to make medieval Islamic invaders look reasonable and human, they have no such respect for the Hindu kings of India.
For example, how many of you know how the Vijayanagara empire ended? This was the last great golden period of Andhra!! How come we are not taught this in our history? Are these "eminent historians" hiding our own history from us?
It is a matter of lack of balance especially when it comes to one's own culture that is the question.
While I do NOT want a chauvinistic Hindu history, I DO want a balanced history where the TRUTH is taught. That is - if Aurangzeb's court records say he massacred 50,000 Hindus on a campaign, please don't tell us that he was a very tolerant person. Also, we don't want the Socialist-Marxist "class/caste/religion-struggle" interpretation of Indian History. This blinkered method of Historical analysis has been discredited along with Communist ideology decades ago elsewhere in the world.

In Kerala Muslims, Christians & Hindus almost in equal ratio; Never heared of any communal riots in India and else where.
Kerala one state did mock drill by holding their hands together right from Phalghat (Pehala Ghat) to extreme south.

Branding, lower cast you people surrpess you own people. Majority of them dont feel that they are Hindus. Probably we should work in that way, to strengthen the religon. How do you think succesfully they could invade and done conversions?

Let each historian prove his /her point with supporting evidence, failing which, one can scrap the concept as a whole .. We are better off without reading it and it would be more of a mythology than history

You are right.Muslims,Christians along with pseudo-secular Hindus are suppressing and oppressing Hindus. Hindus don't have right to build temple even in their holy city.
Though a majority they are living in fear of accusations. Whatever they do is wrong.
These shameless pseudo seculars glorify and praise Gazni mohammad for invading 17 times. They don't teach that Muslims and Christians
looted and made us slaves for thousands of years.
I want to shit on their pseudo-secular faces(oh! I am sorry.don't brand me as an RSS agent. I have never met any RSS person or read any RSS literature.But this is how I feel as a moderate Hindu educated in Christian schools and colleges and was gifted Bible many times. By the time I finished my schooling I had a library of Bibles. God knows how fundamentalist/Radical Hindus feel)
