This is what you understood , interpret ; Ofcourse the interpretation depends upon the background, socrity whre you lived & education.
If you jump to conclusions and entr into other territories boundries you miss the direction and the purpose of being your participation is very much defeated.

What sorta bearing has this with anything? One needn't be a victim to fully understand what domestic violence is all about...one may have worked with these victims and they might have seen the kinda brutality and pain inflicted

Yes. One need not be a victim to understand the onslaught of Domestic violence. Just needs a broad outlook with the existining surroundings and relevance.
