Every temple in AP but not limited to one or two. In villages temples are very much shortage of funds. They need to be well supported financially.

Nagesh, I dont think Churches and Mosques are under Govt Control - for instance, the income they generate from Mosques goes to the Waqf board but not the Endowments Department .. The pity is that whatever we offer in the hundis goes to the Govt and Govt in turn funds Waqf board ... but the Waqf income doesnt go to the govt .. so, ultimately, the majority community ends up funding the minority prayer halls .. LOLZ

Hi Nagesh, I'm always jovial, in terms of normal discussions & heated arguments. Take it easy. But I still stick to my points. :) Thanks.

hello BB, I don't know wether you said seriously or jovially. I am still LOL for for Allah's sake and Jesus sake. It is sooo halirious. Lets be serious. I see your valid points. See you are questioning that Govt can do or not?---It can do. But I can understatn u intention of this question is are they doing are not. Here is what is say? Justice can not be given comparitively? But can not be descriminated. MK you know one thing even churches and Mosques are under Govt control. It is not only Temples. Govt has the power and control to take action against any trouble area. Thats why an act came that no monument which is existing now (temple/mosque/church) can not be transformed into the old structure based on history. Do we need to provide security for any Mosque/Church? There is no tradition or history of construction of maintanace of Churches or Mosques. But temples need that. There is lots of info is there in and out of temples. Temples give the info of change of dynasties and periodical changes in art and culture. No mosque or church will give that info. For lot many reasons Govt needs that.

First, my apologies. I haven't followed the complete thread. But just poking my nose in reply to : Posted by: Mr. Nagesh Babu Adari At: 23, Jan 2005 4:06:40 AM IST Sir, Mr Nagesh, for Allah's sake and for Jesus' sake(as you may not believe God), please open your eyes wide. Yes, sure there are agrahaarams and lands that belong to Temples(I mean, Hindu Temples). But similarly, it is also for sure that there are lands existing on the name of "inaam", with mosques, muslims that are not yet accounted. So much of land on the name of churches, same scene. Can't Govt control them? Why? Why only on Hindu lands, Hindu Gods, Hindu Temples, Hindu people? Why not others? Please explain this first before you speak out any thing. Thanks in advance.
