| Can you plz post some of the sacrifices which did not come to light or which you felt every one should know.
Think that you are explaining a dumb, illiterated and layman;
What is " SACRIFICE " ? How does you can relate this particular issue to Indian Society?

We should understand that whatever freedom fighters have done, whatever may be their path ..adi ahimsa kanivvandi, viplavam kanivvandi..andaru kalalu kannadi swatantra bharata desam kosame. Oka Gandhi, Gokhale enta goppa varo oka Subhash bose, Alluri, Tilak, Veera savarkar ante goppa varu. Kani ee roju, vividha rajakiya partilu, ilanti endaro swatantra samara yodhula tyaganni vari labdhi kosam vadukovadam badhakaram.

The discussion is meant with some expectation; That means the postings should be what it was expected from the participants but not their view.
Is it important what Godse looked into Gandhi that time.
AP was after Gandhi but not Alluri Seetarama Raju; May be he is terrorist in their view. What we are lacking is we don't appraise ourselves so who will appraise us. Our leaders are continuously side tracking the events for their own benifits.

If anyone of us supports Godse, it becomes a controversy. The playlet on Godse was banned. That is what I meant.
Not necessarily a crucial decision. But a fruitful discussion. What are all the decisions of Gandhiji that are opposed and why? etc.,

Well, What I wish to mention is, what are the reasons Godse quoted that forced him to kill Gandhiji? (Here again... no one mentioned that....... Godseji ........ but only Gandhiji).
What had happened was happened. But let us mature ourselves to know our history. 'Know thy history' is what Swami Vivekananda quotes.
We not even allow and suspect people who try to 'analyse' and 'revise' the history. Only Gandhiji and Nehru family are freedom fighters? They are many people. We need to let our people know what is what. What are the decisions that were made, why they were made? Everyone at that time are patriotic. Most of the people sacrificed their lives. But unknowingly or by misconception or by too much belief on one's own ideas, few decisions of them might trouble the country on the whole.
So keeping everyone in good light, we just need to show the dark shades/days in our history due to their decisions.
P.S. I only wished and requested that... do not deviate the topic with personal comments or something irrelevant like many other threads. This is just a notice/precaution as a person who initiated this thread.
I thank everyone of you who participated and shared their valuable opinion.

In the first place why it's controversial;
Like any action movie where hero's family (whole family) murdered by a vilan; He keeps memorizing the vilan in his dreams and looks for every oppertunity to meet the vilan again.Though it's difficult even class mates to meet again. One fineday he will identifies the vilan by the chain which he was wearing at the time of murder ( long live TANISHQ) and kills him. There is no law no rules no police force just what the hero thinks the audience thinks the same and the film is super hit.
Here the story is diffrent our vilan was Godse and hero is Gandhi. He supposed to bring freedom as promised but the British declaration made everyone confused only Gandhi and the rest of citizens but not nehru family or Panjabi's & Afghans.
Like our films people started thinking again may be Godese is right? So, Delhi intellectuals prepared a script infavour of Godse and they wanted to stage this palylet.
Ofcourse it was banned.
