During floods and heavy rains you will find shortage for potable water; In India we have less supply for potable water; Water is one of the item that contributes spreading of any epidemic durin inclement weather conditions. Ibstitutions like Redcross, St. Johns Ambulance Associations, Scouts are doing much awareness programs for the public to maintain hygeinic conditions and to restore the same after floods or heavy rains; Every one feel responsible to control the spreading of such diseases by:
1. Education & Training
2. Adequate Emergency Plans
3. Adeqaute supply of medicines
4. Adequate supply of potable water and food during such periods
