| I have no idea about US so we have to listen there is no much choice;
In India every star hotel charging ofcourse it is to be defined for what service and where the services are rendered; For take away also we are paying service charge which is absurd.

Only thing that says is Indian food is more in demand than others.

We use to go different restaurants in the weekend like:
1. Indian (Malyalee, Gujarathi, Udipi)
2. Pakistani
3. Irani ( Paarsi or Parsian)
4. Lebnani
5. Misry ( Egyptian )
6. Syrian
7. Palasteni
so on
Indian restaurants charge more for take away where as the rest of arab restaurants charge less for take away and charge more for eating inside the restaurants.
For no reson the restaurants and hotels charge more in the name of service, surcharge and luxury tax.
Is it resonable to charge such things?
Who is gaining the Govt. or owners?
