Compared to Europe west has more craze to give funny names to industries as well as marketing agencies.
There are many leading mfg of cranes some of which Demag, Tadano, Grove, P&H, American, .........
Why it is P&H we asked the representative. His simple answer is
P= Perpendicular hoist ( never pull )
H= Hypotenuous ( The boom always supports )
There is another mfg 3M
what could be the 3M's, probably
M= Manufactieing
M= Marketing
M= Margin ( Percentage of gains)
Now in India also we will find some civil contractors " Roofs and Bridges"
