Well, I would like to see handwritten symbols for 'gha', 'jha', 'ma' and 'ya' and then also for 'na', 'pa', 'sa' and 'ha'. In particular, I would like to see where exaxctly one puts the 'tick' above the symbols. As far as I heard and as I could see from online tutorials, it is a bit different for 'jha' or 'ya', but often these symbols look a bit different in every tutorial.
If you have a syllable with two or three consonants. If the second consonant is 'ka', 'cha' or some other of the consonants that are too 'tall' to fit directly under the primary consonant - do you write them after the fprimary consonant just like in tutorials where java script is used for writing, or do you write them sort of half below and half after the primary consonant? How do you write things if there are three consonants in a syllable?
These are a few of the things, not major, but something I would like to know.. It's hard to explain online..
Thanks for any help!

I really can't find any place online to ask this, all the forums out there only discuss movies hehe..

Posted by: Mr. Blaz Kavcic At: 4, Sep 2004 4:13:33 PM IST Hi!
I might be in the wrong place, if anybody can help me with this or point me to the right address, I'll be thankful!
I am a student from Europe who happens to love Telugu alphabet. I learned it online and now I can write things in english and in my own language with Telugu symbols. I don't speak the language itself, there are practically zero indians in my country and there aren't any schools to learn it either.
Anyway, all online tutorials use those perfect letters from fonts or java script, but I have never been able to get any handwritten things. Learning online is like learning to write in perfect Arial or Times Roman fonts. Plus, I heard that the way some symbols (like two or three consonants in a row) are written is not the same when handwritten - such as not written on the same level as the primary letter and so on..
Is there anybody who would be willing to spend some time and help me out with that? I would really like to have some small detailes clear and see how secondary consonants are written in real life.. It would only be a one-time help, unless somebody wants to have a penpal in Europe! I am really open to something like that also! Well, I will stop here, the msg has been to long anyway.. And let's see if anybody is out there. You can message me personally too!
Bye!
