Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 19, Sep 2004 5:49:32 PM IST I encourage people to pirate video, music and software and also use open source softwares instead of wasting money on purchasing softwares.

1. Cinema halls no more hygienic and are gathering centers/places due to poor ventilation and sanitation.
2. Most of the population avoiding crowd and mass gathering.
3. The number of people visiting cinema halls will reduce further.
4. There are other entertainments rather than a movie in theater.
5. Duplication is there in every field including automobile spares (genuine spares)
6. Many cinema hall complexes were demlished and converted into shopping complexes.

Reg check is built into the s/w so bypassing it wont be that easy!
Any tampering of that entry should render the s/w un-runnable (warning which already exists for touching reg entries by MS)!
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 14, Sep 2004 3:24:13 AM IST /But the problem is once the software is activated it doesnt check for the system hardware changes/
All you need is a small check with a Registry entry which is created during install which of course is tied to the unique combo!
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 14, Sep 2004 2:47:06 AM IST what if you tie it with the MAC address? that combo will be unique right?
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 14, Sep 2004 1:57:06 AM IST haha, its clear now! sounds like tamper-proof, dint ya claim patent or something on this? :P

/ The software that I developed would tie an installation to a pc /
This isnt burnt into the CD, is it?
/ If the folders were copied or the same cd was used to install on a different pc it would ask for the registration code no matter what /
What if you copy the CD first and install it on 2 different PCs ? Which CD would work ?
