SDB, You r right. There is no second thought at the path he has chosen, which has yielded results to an extent. Despite his vision, we should agree, he has done a lot in the area of agricluture, particularly during his tenure when there were consistent natural disasters...HE WAS VERY GOOD AT DISASTER MANAGEMENT. OF COURSE WE CAN"T EXPECT HIM TO AVOID THEM. But the problem cropped up after projects came up in K'taka....Almatti and Narayanapur. Krishna Delta, heartland of AP's agriculture after Godavari, was severly affected. Farmers in that area have developed a feeling that CBN had not acted strongly in these issues. It is for sure even the current govt could do nothing about that. Current CM is a lucky dog in that he had a timely rains to some extent, which CBN had not had.At that juncture he didn't take sufficient measures..in standing up to the problems of the Delta farmer fraternity, rather he gave some strange suggestions to go for some alternative means, which are no way suitable in that area. THat was the time when he was conducting Afro Asian games and successful with National Games, and seriously trying for Formula 1. These all sent totally wrong signals. THE NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA OF OPPOSITION WAS ALWAYS THERE

/Reforms should some thing different. Not by renaming the old one. APSEB = Transco + APGenco + something. Is this the reform? Same old stupid corrupted bandicoots are sitting in the same old chairs, under new name. Is this the reform? / Every action will have its own logic BB. Here the logic is to make Generation, Transmission and Distribution seperate and make them operate as three Strategic Business Units resulting in having seperate books. Hence one's performance will not have effect on the other. Main victim always was the transmission and that was and is eating into the profits of other wings. What you said is absolutely true....that the mindset of employees should have been changed... Alas..that's what he tried for...and today he was out of the post. Even kids know that all the employee organizations openly worked against him and usage of Voting machines and the innoncence of massive electorate who lacked the knowledge of using them came as a great boon to these who are posted there as electoral officers who guided them "how to vote".(read between the lines) But after all these efforts still the voting % difference is just 6%, nothing much substantial, with so many factors against. Whoever is in the power, as one gentleman in the room said we have to bother about the progress of the state. Whoever agrees or not CBN has definetly laid a road map for the progress, though he has neglected one crucial area, agriculture and related fields. We have to just pray that this plan is atleast not disturbed..and continued so that benefits can be reaped.

Guys, Almost all of us Indians are bunch of Rascals. We are corrupt, dishonest and no one has the right to blame other because everybody is the same. May be some people are slightly better than others. This discussion is a waste of our valuable time. First we have to discuss how to cure our people from this Corruption disease.

Reforms should some thing different. Not by renaming the old one. APSEB = Transco + APGenco + something. Is this the reform? Same old stupid corrupted bandicoots are sitting in the same old chairs, under new name. Is this the reform? What he tried to do was good, but how far was he successful? No one asked to get rains from Chirapunji to Andhra. But he could have controlled fake seeds, adultered pesticides. Why he couldn't do any thing in this way? This would definitely have improved the position of Farmers to certain extent. No rains. No water. nakilI vittanAlu. kaltI purugula mandulu Where else can a farmer go? What is his fate? The basic demand by a non-political farmer is not subsidy, not free power for his motor. He is ready to pay for un-inturrupted quality power(without voltage drops), genuine seeds and pesticides. Thats it. He can really cultivate gold with these. But, local politicians provoke people(and their party men, who are farmers) towards akrama kanekshan and then ask for so many things. If you get a chance, talk to any genuine farmer, you will understand the fact. And you said constant supply of power. Was that the Image or Reality? I really don't think so. May not be his mistake, he tried to give that power, but these un-controllable wrong usage of power made him to fail in this aspect. He could have controlled these improper connections with the help of Electricity dept, but the employees of that dept themselves (I already said, they are originallycorrupted bandicoots, renamed) helped those farmers. Do you expect a farmer by himself can go for an improper connection? No ways, without the help of local line man and AE. What is the use of breaking APSEB into three pieces, when the people are same? Their attitude should have been changed, or NCB should have taken strong steps against them. Nothing happened. He was looking for his profit and kept his eyes closed, others did their own job. Simple.

annAy , karNuni chAvuki veyyi kAraNAlu annaTlu, there are more than one strong reason for NCB's defeat. Not giving sufficient responsibilities is one major factor. People felt what he was doing were just gimmicks is another one. Privatization threat, ignoring retired employee sector were reasons for hatredness in employee sector. He does have money to send his MLAs to Singapore, but he lack money for pensions. Privatized APSEB, but what did he achieved? Same old employees, like old wine in new bottle. So, they work in the same way as they were working previously. May be, corruption is not the major reason. But ignoring agriculture sector is a big mistake. These are few of his -ves. The +ves of Congress is nothing but false propaganda and false&impossible promises. Some one said, "YSR doesn't know how to talk". Hence is the reason why he let the kuru vrudhdha Rosaiah. He utters what ever he gets into his mouth. He never thinks with his brains. But what is going to be our(AP) future?
