BlueS - If you just want to access your PC, have you considered any remote control s/w like pc-anywhere, access my pc? I know its a crude way but will serve the purpose and I am sure you can go thru the router as well with authentication, etc! One s/w that I used is called NetOp and it works like a charm! These need a host and a client obviously!
If you are looking for pure VPN kind of access, I can check with one of my friends who is well-versed on VPN, tunneling, DMZ, routers.
