Prime Minister Manmohan Singh opined that public functionaries, including the prime minister, should be brought within the ambit of the proposed law.
Earlier President Abdul Kalam also stated that he wants the highest office also to be scrutinised by Lokpal.
What would be the impact on the politics of India, if such a law can be introduced and implemented?
