| where am I gonna fit into this ??
well..here goes first my driving record update...
First time i was caught by a US citizen. isn't it crazy. I was going 35-40 in a residential area and couldn't see the stop sign and drove across. I was listening to some ROCK music with high sound on my MACH 8 speaker stereo. Slightly missed an intersection collison. And the guy I missed the collision with called the cop and reported about my careless driving. My fate is bad, otherwise I could have run after i missed the stop sign but unfortunately i ended up at a security entrance of apartments, so I had to stop and couldn't go anywhere else. But the luckiess thing here is, Cop said I didn't see him crossing the stop sign so I can't issue a ticket. And the guy still didn't leave me and reported the next day at court about my rash driving and I got a citation agaian :(( from court.
I had to either pay the penalty or plead not guilty and appear the court. Hence I appeared at the court and the case was Dismissed because the guy who reported did not come on the court date. Sooooooooooooo lucky me escapeeeeeeeed for first time.

Posted by: చంటోడు At: 22, Oct 2004 0:47:27 AM IST Speeding is no fun. Even a 80 year old can do that, all we have to do is push the gas pedal. I usually driving 5-10 above speed limit, but once in a while screech tires while changing lanes, stop and go at traffic lights. It's fun and less dangerous than speeding. I drive a 2004 Honda Odyssey which I bought 14 months back and it needs new tires already(as per dealer).
Ten+ years in US and I have a clean driving record. Isn't that cool?
Clueless, I hope you are talking about Bumper Sticker, not Vanity Plate. Vanity Plate is nothing but a personalized Number plate(Tag).

Posted by: Ms. tapana raaga At: 22, Oct 2004 0:39:14 AM IST When a cop wants to stop you, he would try to get behind you and follow you until you are in a decent position to stop. He would not want someone to stop in the middle of the road blocking everyone else. He would wait until you get to right lane and then instruct you on a radio to slowly pull over and stop the car. With his instructions to stop, you'll know that it’s for you. After all, you'll be the first one to know that you are speeding :-).
Posted by: Ms. tapana raaga At: 22, Oct 2004 0:36:27 AM IST What are the various signal lights the cops use on the highways, how do you know if he wants you to pull over, sometimes they are on an emergency call and they use red and blue for that too, what are different patterns?
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 22, Oct 2004 0:30:13 AM IST But, don't you think cops ego would hurt if you don't brake?? He would probably be happy to be acknowledged for being a cop and maybe you can get away with little over speeding...
