Now there is a doubt that many killings may not reach the level of judicial enquiry.
It's not true. They have to face one day.
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 31, Oct 2004 9:35:58 PM IST I have a small doubt.
Naxals want to have enquiry on encounters, but won't they be enquired for killings?
General public were very curious about the talks. Anyways, it is the first step and we can start expecting some thing from the next round onwards. This round was only to know each other's views. Govt. proved to be pro towards talks, but Govt certainly lack the determination to bring peace. It lack the confidence of taking away the weapons from Naxals. And as usual, naxals don't know what exactly they are fighting for. Why does they need to comment on Police wages?
Posted by: Bahud♥♥rapu Baatasaari At: 27, Oct 2004 4:21:17 PM IST 1. Govt. understands the capcity and the limits of Naxals.
2. Media did god business.
3. Now every one won the confidence of discussions. This will help us to say No when we want to say No instead of yes.
4. Both can neglect third party.
5. When you have nothing to do call for discussion.
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 25, Oct 2004 6:57:55 PM IST The first round of talks with naxals is completed. Now everyone are
contemplating the impact, usefulness and are also analysing the topics. As
usual there are people who are hopeful and there are people who doubt the
process. Govt. is insisting not to use arms whereas naxals are reluctant to do
so. Naxals' emissary Varavara Rao conveyed demands
for second round talks - Filing cases on the police personnel who are involved
in encounters and also enquiry on important enquiries. In the given scenario,
what would be the fate of the discussions?
