| What we are supposed to learn from the history of Germany and it's ruler ittalar? What the rest of the world opinion in this regard?
EU and mainly UK ruled India for years we need to have the same opinion what they have in this regard??? That made you to declare himm as a distator rather than a ruler of a great country ???

May be I didnt put it in the right way .. my point was simple ..
If History needs to be portrayed as it was .. then one has to put down all the facts irrespective of caste creed or religion, without caring for the sentiments of the people
But if one wants to present history in such a way that only the positives are to be learnt and the negatives to be iggied (I hope u imply the same), one has to be unbiased - it shouldn't be the case that the faults of one sect are covered up and the faults of the rest are put under magnifying glass .. ( and it doesnt matter whether u belong to 50s or 90s as this is an issue that deals with minds of the millions of kids) ...
Are u sure U meant the attacks of Mohd Ghaznavi were not aimed at looting the Temples and plundering the welath? ( Well I'm not saying all rulers were like that .. there were people like Akbar and Qutubshahis who were constructive) ...
This is just not about the freedom struggle ... Indian history doesnt start with freedom struggle .. it Doesnt start with Muslim rule either ...
For instance, the conversions advocated by Tipu Sultan cannot be found in any of the text books ( though the trascrpits are available at the University of Mysore Library) where as the Wodayars of Mysore were portrayed as traitors and all their constructive acitvities were conveniently ignored ..
so, I repeat, my whole point here is that history should be interpreted in an unbiased manner .. be 100% frank or be 100% diplomatic ..

If you have atleast read the first few chapters of mein kamp, you will understnad hitler considered austrians to be germanics too and he was bad at austrians being ruled by " slavic " race. The austrian king was a slav.
He advocated the unity of germanic race and replacement of the dynasty of slav with germans.
He always considered austria an integral party of germany and austrians to be germanics.

SwapnaCCCP, yes we are ignorant. But i think you are more ignorant than us in terms of public speaking, i think so. I don't understand why are u trying to rub off u'r hatred for hitler on us. This is a debate sort of situation where in everybody is free enough to sound his opinion.
Take the example of Veerappan. His death was a happy thing for both the Karnataka and TN gov's. But the whole of his home village mourned his death saying they have lost their demi-god. Veerappan may not be an equiavalent to hitler but he too is a hard core ruffian. So, what do u say about this?
Every matter in this world has a flip side to it. So, be atleast in a position to listen to it. Don't just stick to your opinion. Yes, i already told in the same thread that Hitler may be a psychopath, but i personally consider him a hero. My uncle told that the abuse he went thru in his childhood turned him so, may be even we could have turned like that if we experienced the same situations hitler went thru in his childhood(child Abuse).
