The DRDO scientists admitted they used some of the principles in the design of LCA (Light Combat Aircraft)
Vedic Mathematics vis a vis Modern Algebra and Geometry is studied extensively at Hyderabad Central University and in fact the application to Dynamical Systems and Chaos are being researched up on.
It is believed that the Vedic Mathematic approaches would reduce the complexity of some computational algorithms and researchers are working on the feasibility to reduce the complexity from np hard to np complete in a few cases.

Well Ananth,
I was talking about that post giving the caste color to the Vedas .. I was jsut questioning the self contradiction in that post, (Saying "Vedas were forced on others" in one sentence and "Vedas were not communicated to others" in the other thread.
What I was trying to say was that when Nobody is able to establish the facts about the Birth of Vadas, when how and why were they written and who wrote them, itz amusing to see people making assumptions that they were written by Brahmins and were not communicated and all that ...
Thats why I said Naach na Jaane Aangan Theda .. Aadalenamma Maddela oodanadam ante ide.
