Games, supposed to inculcate sportive nature, develops 'win by hook or crook' attitude. There are allegations that Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Subrata Paul is responsible as he seemed to have hit junior’s chest in stopping a goal. An upset Paul was quoted as saying after the incident that he was only “trying to stretch” in an attempt to save the goal.
The players also say that Junior was rushed to an orthopaedic hospital which was at 2km distance instead of Mallya hospital that is beside the Kanteerava stadium. Reports reveal that he was fell unconscious for 15 min on the ground and no efforts are made to understand the severity of the situation. Co-players reported that Oxygen Cylinder in the ambulance is also not working and the heavy traffic delayed his admission into hospital where he was declared dead. Whom do you think are responsible for this sad state of affairs in the games?
