Vidushini garu,
I am really enlightened to read about Dr.Veerapragada, and at the same time ashamed of what people of my 'kind'(by caste) did to him.
I accept that, there is a hierarchy structure in society, in elamarru, but was not aware of it's adversities on the society, since i am too young to understnad them at the time, i am part of that society. Moreover, i guess you are shielded from such kind of 'information', because you are a 'kid'(at that time), or because it is too embrassing to 'reveal' by adults.
Anyway, i cant help much, but feel sorry about Dr.Veerapragada, and assure you that any such henious act would not be done by me, and hopefully(yes, there are still people like that !!) not by 'youth' of my generation.
I wish you can provide me with his contact information, if it is not too much trouble.

Elamarru anedi, gudivada ki sumaru oka ghanta duramulo, unna oka andamaina gramamu.
nenu gudivada lo putti, konni samvatsaramulu elamarru lo perigaanu. tarvatha, prathi samvatsaramu(untill 2002, when i came to US) elamarru 2/3 saarlu vachi pothunde vadini, maa amamma valla intiki.
aaa uru tho naaku unna sambandhamu chaala adbhuta mainadi, mariyu naa anubhavalu chaala teeyanivi.
aa uru nunchi evaraina, unte, varini kalavalani aasisthu unnanu.
