| Thanks Mr, Suresh.
1. Which life on earth has got the capacity to anticipte / predict such dangers in advance??
2. There is no harm in buying technology for measuring sea bed signs & symptoms. The question remains about the accuracy. Why because it will be something that related to forcast ???
3. Water is two thirds whereas land is just one third. So we do not have built in safety like shock absorbers ???
4. During the process of evolution why the water is behaving like this without absorbing certain nature shocks and just transfering the energy to land???

It's not for our fishermen, it's not for our farmers - they will continue to die. And we continue to work in the call centers for american customers day and night.
All the countries that were hit by the tsunami are just like India.
In thailand, the entire govt. resources are working to send the foreign tourists (american and european) out of their country to protect them from deceases. Thai govt. has no resources to protect their own people, they die their own death.
(we have internet to talk all these things, can't do anything else...)

Now there are reports coming from USA saying we don't have a Tsunami alert system. But when those US agencies came to know that there is a major quake close to indonesia and it can potentially cause a tsunami, why don't these organisations alerted India and Srilanka, which are two hours away from the quake center?
They are agreeing that it took two hours time to hit the India and Srilanka coasts after the quake happened. The US govt. has an embassy in chennai, can't they alert them?
I am seeing reports saying that these US organisations does not have any contact information for alerting anybody about tsunami. That's bullshit.
These fellows are now trying to sell their technology to poor countries. I already saw news from various governments including India, that they are ready to buy this technology.
Posted by: Mr Suresh KVS At: 28, Dec 2004 8:04:01 PM IST Our IT is responsible for not alerting the people in advance that shook Asia on 26/12/2004 ???
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 28, Dec 2004 7:26:44 PM IST Twenty years back getting a Gas stove and gas connection was a great achievement in the soceity.
Can we communicate with the world from India without much difference in price. You can talk to any part of the world from US by lower prices. Where as we have to pay more charges to call from India to other world.
This difference will change in near future??
