| He is a sincere and honest police officer who is a lion to many even in their dreams (simha svapnam ) .
He is not shot dead, but died in a landmine put by naxalites/maoists.. etc in Bihar. Or it may be that somebody for whom he is a thorn in the thigh might have eliminated him. we have to wait and see what the police is going to tell.
