Rational Teamtest/SQA Suite that has Rational Robot Rational Sitecheck used to be good Testing tool a while ago. But I felt it was lil cumbersome to manage the integration test cases with that tool. People say its easy to run Intergrationa dn unit tests with Winrunner .. I'm not sure

Hi Rathan, No, i am in manual testing. But i want to learn tools.

Nope Janaki, this is about the Software Development methodologies. Test cycle happens to be a part of each of them.

Yeppa think malak is right. In my System Analysis and Design coursework I happened to read that there are 4 basic models for software design: 1. Waterfall model 2. Rapid application development methodology 3. Prototyping and Throw Away Prototyping..actually they too come under the RAD methodology and finally 4. Object Oriented and Object relational But now in my Object-oriented programming class I learnt that there are 2 more iterative methodologies which are, as malak said 1. Rational Unified Process (RUP)- which depends more on the modelling concept and 2. Xtreme Programming (XP)- which gives acute importance to coming out with the exact code from a bunch of pseudocode's Do all these things come under Software testing? Plz brush me out on this doubt.
