Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 13, Feb 2005 6:45:55 PM IST Come this assembly season, kids have a special venue. Andhrapradesh Legislative Assembly's doors are opened for kids with a red carpet welcome. Speaking to the reporters after a meeting, Assembly Speaker KR Suresh Reddy announced that schoolchildren would be allowed to witness Assembly proceedings this Budget session.
Do you welcome this step? Can we expect any positive change in the way the proceedings are usually conducted? Does this act helps the children to get an idea of how budget is finalized or Does this bring a sense of responsibility on the part of legislators to behave their own selves when children are around inquisitively watching them?
