| Roti ( bread )is baked in the oven where as chapathi / paratha on a pan. Infact naan belongs to roti family. It's some what more thick like a pizza.The bread used for baking pizza is nothing but naaan.
Later on naan was also tried on a pan using different edible oils. Ofcourse butter naan is very famous in north as well as south.
