simply the Answer depends on the health of the American economy. Irrespetive of 5 tax cuts American economy showed little/no reaction. Even other countries economies are not encouraging either. I cannot agree with the answer NO as every industry other than oil is doing bad in US and again cannot pessimistically say YES - the positive answer would be to WAIT and SEE.

According to the reports reaching India many people who have already gone to the US or planning to go there, are a lot worried over the reported declining trend in the US job market. The corresponding problem for many is that, at least it looks like that is, if one should pack up their baggage once laid out. For both the questions the answer from the experts is a big "NO". Why? First: Yes, the trend is decline in jobs. The prime reason is the reported death of many dotcoms. But it should be noted that all those dotcoms that perished rather expectedly are the ones that lacked a specific business model and / or the ones that relied heavily on utopian optimistic calculations on possible pumping in of money on rotating advertisement banners on the sites. Every one adapted the same strategy finally leading to a state where the hopes had to be dashed off. Yes, the strategy did not work out the way one wanted. Result: Sharing the advertisements, minus money! Moral one: Technology is not entirely about the dotcoms that missed the bus. Technology has more to offer. Wait for the right time. Second: Many people are reported to be worrying over a flying notion that once laid off, one has to be pack up and take the next bullock cart to reach home. Is it really true? Again the answer is a big "NO". Nowhere does the INS (Immigration and the Naturalization Service) spell that one should pack up and go home upon being laid off or quit the job for any reason. You can still be there and pursue the alternatives. Moral two: Don't rush in to call the movers. They will laugh at you! Knowledgeable people with different opinions on the subject may please correct me.
