Ananth, maybe you can tell me about this Malakpet site? Jana (I hope you don't mind the abbreviation!), I'm not dating anyone seriously at the moment, so, I haven't given it much thought. I should do though if the situation changes. Perhaps someone, especially the ladies can give me a straightforward answer!

Is it must that surname to be inherited from parents? If so, should it be father's or mother's? I think our ancestors had decided and followed this tradition to get rid of this confusion and to stream line our cultured marraige process.
