Bhaskar, I'm not referring to the kind of love that exists between friends. These are people who think that once a person is friendly, it must mean that he or she is in love with them. They then pursue that sort of love at any cost without once stopping to think that maybe it's just platonic.

What you have said about not being able to change others' mind is true. However, it's not so easy as to simply ignore them. This is especially so it these people directly affect you.

Do you think there are quite a number of people who go around not really knowing or understanding what love is all about? I mean there are some men and women who immediately assume that it must be love if someone of the opposite sex is friendly towards them. Isn't this sad?
