English language claims that these words are taken from Persian without refering to Urdu or Sanskrit. 1. Bazaar 2. Candy 3. Caravan * 4. Check 5. Divan 6. Jackal 7. Jasmine 8. Lemon 9. Lilac 10. Magic 11. Orange 12. Paradise 13. Shawl 14. Spinach 15. Talc 16. Tulip 17. Turban ** In Hindi there was film in which jitendra acted as hero " CARAWAN " * Can some one help the meaning for a carawan. I hope so that it would definetly differs from english dictionary meaning. ** Turban were when and how used by persians is not known. We know our panjab sikhs and afghani patans use them ofcourse in a different manner.

English has taken in words from Hindi language including: 1. Bangle 2. Bunglow 3. Chintz 4. Chit 5. Cot 6. Cushy 7. Dinghy 8. Jungle 9. Loot 10. Pyjamas 11. Shampoo 12. Thug 13. Toddy 14. Verandah Do you feel still there some other words other than mentioned, if so please tell us. Also it will be helpful if you identify the words that are taken by English from our Telugu Language.
