BioTech is fast reaching stagnation in the areas of Agriculture and Pharmacy. But it has pretty good prospects, as Crocy said, in the areas of BioMedical Engg and Nano-Tech ... having said this .. I would suggest that your cousin should hold a Masters with BioTech as a Major.
She can start visiting CCMB Tarnaka and HCU Gachibowli .. they are the best institutes in AP for BioTech Research.

CP garu, thank you. Can you give me any urls that are useful? Like the possible courses that she might apply for her Masters. The companies that she can look forward too etc., Nano-technology with respect to Bio-technology? How come! Quite interesting. My cousing completed Intermediate (Bi.P.C.). She is contemplating to pursue Bio-technology in her graduation. Subjects: Bio-technology, Chemistry and Botany.
