But it has pretty good prospects, as Crocy said, in the areas of BioMedical Engg and Nano-Tech ... having said this .. I would suggest that your cousin should hold a Masters with BioTech as a Major.
She can start visiting CCMB Tarnaka and HCU Gachibowli .. they are the best institutes in AP for BioTech Research.

My cousing completed Intermediate (Bi.P.C.). She is contemplating to pursue Bio-technology in her graduation. Subjects: Bio-technology, Chemistry and Botany.
