hello friends, as per my view father is not a machine of earning,of course as per the social life we know from imemorial time he is the financial source of the family, but one has to remember that he is a sucha type of celebrity who has given us the body followed by he is the person who will give us the social status and the good family background, now a days due to globalisation even they have changed a lot and take the responsiblities of mother,as per my view he is a good friend, wealth of wishdom, wealth of happiness ......................etc.

Posted by: Site Administrator At: 19, Jun 2005 9:02:32 AM IST -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- we can,t say only the father is tha money making machine some mothers also contributing ,this is applicable for Indian society here most of the cases where father involves in money making process and mothers plans it for proper utilisation, some stress on father is there to meet the needs of the entire family but one can forget the stress and strain for money after seeing the happyness in the eyes of wife and children some times I feel and gets tension,If any thing happens to me what about the family who will take care of them, because I were the person responsible to brought a new person in the name of wife ,later children in the process- why should we fear god is there to lookafter

Thanks to all the sons who wished their fathers. A male does not have much money to spend for himself, when he is at college. As he just settles down with a job, he gets married, then he sacrifices his time at office, does not even do much for himself which he would have wanted as a single and then tries to please his wife, and buys all the things for his children FATHER: WE ARE INDEBTED TO U , AS WE ARE TO THE MOTHER.

who ever got the idea ,that fathers are money making machines are just crazy ,many fathers take dowry and live off comfortably as mr.vachaspati suggested .the title might be aptly renamed fahters are merely money keeping machines .

The children (majority ) never view their fathers like that.In turn fathers are finding it difficult to spare time apart from regular work schedules. This does not mean that they are moving away..from warmth and compassion.... At any given point of Time they stand best of bests... Unions after small time gaps are more..enjoyable...

No. Not at all. I don't think so that family members especially children look upto father as money making machine. These days even women are working. Ofcourse children expect monetary gifts from father because whom else they can ask other than their parents. But it doesn't mean children ignore the love of the father. Anyway it always depends on the upbringing and the quality time spent with the children. yathA rAjA tathA prajA holds true. No matter what one should never neglect the children in their early years. The values, principles we inculcate in them, will last long. This is the major responsibility. Children are our biggest property on whom we can count on. So IMHO, father is not merely viewed as money making machine. If at all it is so, it is the mistake of the father only for involving himself and his time only to earning but not playing with the children.

Parents share family responsibilities. Fathers control family financially while mothers control emotionally. Of late, there seems to be lot of stress on fathers trying to match their earnings to the needs of the family members. Fathers are being viewed merely as moneymaking machines. The other side, warmth and compassion, are being ignored. Do you agree with this argument? Discuss.
