This could be ploy for retaining jobs and outsourcing in their countries.

With so much of outsourcing done by western nations to india, due to the cheap labour, efficent labour, to cut costs, time zone we are in , many jobs are lost out in their own countries. While , india and indians stand to gain from the foreign exchange and high pays, benefits etc.respectively. Naturally, this was to come up at any time, u never know who is at fault, whether this is a fact or fiction? Only time will tell the truth. If this a fact, there could be a hue and cry back in their country to stop outsourcing for the fact that these details would not have been out, had it not been outsourced. It would be an acid test to come out clean and i am sure many other nations would be watching the outcome of this episode

Journalist Is Not Guilty Unless He Used That Information For Personal Benefits. If You Are Offered Some Money For Wrong Doing...It Doesn't Mean You Should Take It. You Have Other Options Too. Just Think That If That Call Centre Guy Made Journalist Caught By Police....What Would Be The Position Of Britain Today ? Ahhhh He Didn't Do That. Damn, I Wish He Would Have Done That. Ofcourse, He Wanted to Prove That Outsourcing To India Is Not Safe. It Is A Trap And He Got The Rat. I Am Not Saying British Or Americans Are Pure But If You See The Corruption Level, They Are Far Better Than Us. Morever, British Or American Guys Don't Fall Into Such Gimmicks Unless It Involves Millions Of Dollars. If You Get Caught, The Punishments In These Countries Are Severe And It Is Not Worth The Risk. It Is Easy To Buy A Rupee By A Pound Or A Dollar But Not The Other Way. Our Laws Are So Loose That Nobody Even Fears To Kill A Person. That's The Backdrop.

Is it not equally guilty with the journalist who offered this business deal? Is he not equally punishable? Why does he need to do such things? Just want to prove to the entire world that "outsourcing" to India is no secure to the business? Is it not a kind of trap? Can't anybody do the same with British employees? Do you think that British, American etc are having all pure guys in their nation? These are the few of questions that were bugging my mind since yesterday.

a newspaper claim on Thursday that Britons' confidential personal details, including information about their bank accounts, are being sold by criminals from Indian call centres. The Sun newspaper said it had bought secret bank details of 1,000 Britons for just 3 pounds each from a computer expert in Delhi who said he had obtained the information from contacts working in call centres. The paper said its reporter had obtained addresses, passwords, phone numbers and details of credit cards, passports and driving licences which could be used to raid unsuspecting victims' accounts. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2005280724,00.html
