General Forum: Society | MOST VALUABLE PROPERTY IN ONE'S LIFE | |
| Experience could be one of the most valuable property!
What any one would do with experience after death?
Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 4, Jul 2005 6:05:32 PM IST Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been. Never been able to fly...
I asked for Strength...
And God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom...
And God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity...
And God gave me a Brain and the Brawns to work.
I asked for Courage...
And God gave me obstacles to overcome.
I asked for Love...
And God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for Favors...
And God gave me opportunities.
"I received nothing I wanted...
But I received everything I needed."
Live Life without fear, confront all obstacles and evince that you overcome them.
Now it is upto u guys to decide which is most valuable.

I think PUNYAM is a better word than DHARMAM .. because PUNYAM is something you EARN and can be considered an intangible Property.
Do I make sense? ..... scratch... scratch .....

Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 4, Jul 2005 4:52:51 PM IST I knew u would say this .. thats why I used the phrase "though not really materialistic"
Just for the sake of the argument ..
aint we talkin about the property "within the boundaries of One's life" .. and not including it?
IMHO Love is a thing but Life is a process that has some beginning and some end... in otherwords, if Love is Data, Life is a program .. they cant be compared!

Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 4, Jul 2005 4:41:41 PM IST Assuming that the word "Property" is defined as something that one possesses ...
1. It cant be Dharma, since Dharma is a concept and can only be followed, it can not be possessed.
2. It cant be satisfaction, since its a state and can only be attained, not possessed.
3. It cant be life too, life can only be lived, cant be possessed.
4. Cant be money, though one would be tempted to for this since its universally agreed there are many things mroe valuable than money.
So, I'm forced to conclude that the most valuable property (thought not really a materialistic property) you can have in your life is the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND AFFECTION you get from others, as it can be felt, it can be possessed and can be retained too.
But plz do correct me if I'm wrong.
