Thanks a lot for your bold reply Vachaspati garu! I too know where Mr.Naidu is a sleeping partner. Let's make it public. It is Andhra Jyothi. How our system will change? Do you think the situation will change if there are more news papers and more TV Channels? I can say the chances are 50-50. The bad side is every news paper owner or TV channel owner is basically a businessman and he expects return for his investment. So, basically it is business. It all depends how fair they are in their business. The good side is competetion - to improve their circulation, they are writing /showing corruption etc. etc. which will bring more awareness in the public day by day. And thanks to the globalisation and software industry - which is helping many middle-class people to cross the critical middle-class line and make them thinking bold. More and more people are now thinking about the country. Once the strong local political leaders and goondaas are becoming less and less powerful because of the changing financial situations. God bless India and the World!

What you said is true. But why is it like that? Why TDP is able to do without any smoke? //TDP is able to control the Press..as it has severa reasons.Mr.Naidu is a sleeping partner in a daily. He controlled Eenadu by lobbying. Is it because they are able to "manage" the Press and Media? As a Journalist, you should be aware of those things, right? (A friendly advise: Pls. don't disclose any thing even if you know, you may loose your job in no time.) Congress never had "good relations" with Press - right from the Indian Express / Ramnath Goenka days. //Because of earlier leaders like INdira Gandhi. IE outrightly opposed emergency openly. Hence faced the closure for some time. Recently Ram Gopal Verma announced that he is going to make an anti-media / anti-press film. I look forward to it. //He has every right to make his movie. The Press enjoys it definitely.

Hello Mr.Vachaspati, Pls. do not comment like a politician. This is exactly what politicians say. We as people, should be able to control both the parties. I look forward to see a political party or a leader that/who just says what they want to do - and never blame the other parties. Intelligent people like you should start looking at the things differently. I feel really bad to hear these type of comments from you. Your thinking and comments indicate that the people are also corrupted in their thinking. Now the point is to condemn Congress Govt. Not to support congress by blaming TDP. Sorry for my harsh comments, hope you try to understand me.

This is an eye opening thing for the AP Govt. and especially for Bosta Stayanarayana.. this is nothing but lack of proper administration and lack of assessment on the issues. We should blame the concerned department exclusively for this and the govt shall recover the money from the persons who are involved in it. In no way it will effect the foriegn investments in the state and it shows the awful administration of the present govt. So the present administrators be careful in dealing with such projects.

A mediator in the Volkswagen deal allegedly duped Andhra Pradesh government. The Government was luring Volkswagen to set up a unit at Visakhapatnam and had been dealing with Helmut Schuster. He was sacked last month over fraud and bribery allegations. Schuster had written to the Andhra Government in January saying Volkswagen had agreed to set up a plant and asked it to transfer two million euros to a company called Vashishta Wahan. Within days, state undertaking APIIC reportedly transferred the money following an order by state Industry Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. However, Volkswagen denies having any stake in the firm and says it is yet to decide on a manufacturing unit in India. The Opposition has alleged widespread irregularities in the deal and demanded a CBI inquiry into the case. Why does big deals always have a murkier side? Comment.
