This happened after i quarantined an item, it is SPOOLSV.EXE. I think it stopped working after that. Does this have anything to do. The threat name is trojan horse and location C:windows. Thanks guys for ur reponses. I will try out Yugaa and Fln(don't mind) too long a name. What does messing "reuse windows for launching shortcuts", it is checked.

Holding down the Shift key and clicking the link should usually open it in a new window. Alternatively, there is a setting in IE-tools-advanced that says 'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts' which can be messed with!
