General Forum: Current 'Affairs' | Can India be a winner in Tri-series in Sri Lanka under Rahul Dravid's captaincy? | |
| One good thing that rahul must be happy is that he does not have to keep wickets. A big relief. Statement from Team Coach Greg Chappell that nobody's place in the team is guaranteed is way of conveying correct message to the team members. Best wishes to the team. AP has 2 members to be proud off.

Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 19, Jul 2005 7:07:34 PM IST Indian selectors named Rahul Dravid captain for the one-day tournament in Sri Lanka on Monday, replacing Saurav Ganguly whose participation hinges on the outcome of his second appeal against a six-match ban. Dravid, 32, will lead India in a full series for the first time, although he has deputized for Ganguly in both tests and one-dayers. It remains to be seen how Rahul Dravid copes with the team's performance, which has not been up to the mark for quite some time. Could he pass the test? Comment.
