General Forum: Help Line | | A poor medico (of SV Medical College) needs financial help | |

Good Morning. I wish to take a long break till December. I will not be participating in the discussions etc., I think it would be the same with articles too.
I decided not to attend any personal meetings or fun parties. Even with respect to social work activities too, I will be the coordinator instead of visiting places. Please do not invite me. I can't say 'No' and I can't attend too.
If there is any fund raising activity or any activity related to social work, please mail me to this id: prasanthi.uppalapati@gmail.com. If there is any meeting related to social work, I wish one of us (who actively participate in Helpline) attend it and keep us updated of the news.

Good News. The medico received required help. I have Rs. 3000 with me with respect to this cause. (Rs. 2000 - Subbu, Rs. 1000 - Suneel). Suneel is interested to donate the money to orphanage. Subbu asked me to spend it for a good cause. I will take the opinion of Subbu in spending his money.

Today there is another article on this guy saying that various
people contributed a total of Rs.60,000.

According to today's article he recieved a total of Rs.60,000 from
various sources.
1.Vayugundla Chenchu Suresh Kumar 10,000 (from Stanford)
2.Brahmavara Prasad 10,000(from Texas)
3.Gudi sai Niranjan 10,000(Switzerland)
4.Magunta layout Services 5,000(T.Krishna Reddy)
5.Spandana-Non profit organisation 25,000(Nidamanuru Nageswara
Rao,Kakarlamudi Ravi Kumar)
Total-60,000
I think this should be more than enough for this year and also
another 2-3 years.Also some more people pledged their support for
the rest of his education according to the article.
Also the article says they opened an account in "Indus Bank" with
account number 0076 I 40425001 and deposited the money into this
account .

I am sorry respected people , I spoke about this issue with 3 of my friends in college who love to help needy ppl. thye were surprised and said that they never heard of such news( ofcourse they wont read newspapers much ). Then i got unwell (psycologically) with some incidents so couldnt concentrate on this matter .
I will know about him by enquiring in office room , i think i will let u know by tuesday.

Thanks for your opinion. Being a Medico you can give us first hand information. We can rely on you. That is why we are asking you to enquire. Only when you assure that he is in desperate need of a helping hand, we will donate the money. That to instead of directly giving the money to him, we will keep one person responsible for his needs like you or Vinayakam garu. (I hope you never mind this work expected from you) when it comes to purchasing of books or clothes for him and other dire needs.
We all await your feedback and report on this matter.

please wait for a couple of days.
Just this evening Prashanti madam called up to me made me knowabout this issue.
My opinion is , just wait and think once before helping someone.
Studying MBBS is not always a money needed thing, as far as i know.
Annual fee is about 7000rs.
and if anystudent can get a certificate that if he belongs to Economically backward section he can pay just 70rs per annum.
And books....there are always seniors and library.
Ofcourse money is a necessary things for living. The person if he is really as poor as written in thatnewspaper article is worth to receive help.
But justgive me 2 or 3 days to make an enquiry.
I dont suggest anyone to stop ur donations...but i would like to say the news is not appearing wholly true.
But i sincerely sympathise for that poor guy. Really his determination must be encouraged.

Thottempudi Suneel's contribution is Rs. 1000 for this Medico.
My sincere thanks to Suneel on behalf of all the members here.
So far the promised amount is:
1. Mrs. Sneha - Rs. 1000
2. Miss. Vaishnavi Tangirala - Amount not yet known
3. Mr. Subrahmanyam Mula - Rs. 1000
4. Mr. Thottmepudi Suneel - Rs. 1000
I haven't yet decided on the amount which I can give due to some other constraints. I too will definitely contribute.
