| Many accidents were cused dueto recurrence of such incidents. Some broken rails were found surprizingly by Non-departmental(railway) people and major accidents were avereted.
What could be the major cause for a broken rail ?
1. Fatigue
2. Prematured failure
3. Unreleased stresses after welding the rail joints
4. Defective material
Gave suggestions and prevent train accidents
5. Poor metallurgy specifications
6. Rails mfg are not meeting the standard
7. Poor maintenance
8. Poor setting / alignment of rails
