| Eighteen days old baby was kept in a Incubator under ICU. Unfortunately the baby was charred to death dueto fire accident. The incident reported like this " A short circuit caused to damage wiring and the equipment ".
1. Incubator opearting volatage is it 240 volts or 110 volts ?
2. What are the tests to be conducted whether an Incubator is safe or hazardous / dangerous.
3. Do we need medical Equipment that are used have to be certified by the third party testing ?
A faulty / defective equipment need to identified before it kills someone.
