It is further said that the language Telugu is also born from this Prathipalapuram only. Many a number of telugu research scholars concluded that the 'puttupoorvothamulu of telugu bhasha' ended at the foot steps of this Prathpalapuram (Bhattiprolu). Today Bhattiprolu is one of the most under developed villages in the entire A.P. The village is kept in the most unhealthy conditions. Many a number of people in this Prathipalapuram suffer from many a number of diseases, sufferings, typhoid, fever etc. You can mostly see only huts and tiled houses. Very few buildings and they all belong to the most miser people of Arya Vysya community.
No political party took any measures to upgrade and develop the village into an excellent village for only one reason that It is a village where most of the people belong to a Backward Caste (padmashalis) engaged still in the handloom profession that does not fetch a sum to run even a single day with full meals. Great Telugus indeed.

You should not use plural here. Because Telugu is only a single language.
It is a fact that there is difference between telugu language spoken in Guntur district and other places of Andhra.
There is a village in Guntur Dt by name BHATTIPROLU. The Telugu research scholars of yesteryears found out that Prathipalapuram is the original name for the Bhattiprolu village. Pratipala raja ruled Guntur Town sitting in Bhattiprolu (Prathipalapuram). The name Bhattiprolu came into being just because the emperor Vikramaadhitya visited this Prathipalapuram (Bhattiprolu) centuries back. It is also said that he found the great Swarna Simhasanam from the earth caves of Lanza Dibbha, found even today in the village.
Bhatti-prolu (Bhatti means Bhatti Vikramarka and Prolu is referred to as Puram. Therefore Bhattiprolu is also named Bhattipuram.There are some families in this village whose surname (house name) is Battu indicating that they are the ancestoral men of Vikramarkha Bhatulu (soldiers).This is according to the most popular Telugu research scholar Dr Diwakarla Venkata Avadhani of Usmania University.
