We won the kanpur match, even without sewag, kaif and agarkar.Hope the board notes this point.

Sewag himself has requested to be rested. HOpe the board is listening to him and not force to play another one, as he is the captain now. The result of yesterday's match was expected.

The cricket board has always been biased to some region or the other and has fancied only few players in the team, whether they perform or not?
The latest in this for me would be "Sewag" and Kaif, i say "Agarkar" to some extent. They have all failed miserably in the last few matches and series and yet continue to play in playing 11. We are having the highest population in terms of people in the world. Are we really not able to get 11 to 15 good players to play for the country. Why was Laxman dropped? why Venugopal rao was dropped and given chance today again to play. what about uttapa- promising lad from Karnatak?
Add to this sewag being the captain for rest of the matches, since we have won the series, the other matches are taken lightly and are we ready to lose and is it a formality that we are playing for? What are we trying to convey to the youngesters? you dont have to be a good bowler and also fail in ur batting,who knows you might be the indian captain. The captain has to lead from the front. He is already not able to play as a player, by giving him captaincy, he is under extra pressure. Then if all these players can be given a chance, then ganguly deserves to be given a chance.
It is time the board officials got together and introspect among themselves and keep up atleast some pride for themselves and the board,else its existence itself will be ridiculed.
