help this poor person to undergo life giving spinalcord surgery

Hello Friends, The following is the mail that is sent by Raghu and Pavan to the MAD group: ======================================= Vishal, a guy with lots of hopes still remaining in him, thinking he can at least can survive his life individually without any help from others....heres the case study from me and Pavan, who visited him on Sunday. Every of you know the details of his accident, After the accident, he was taken to the Deva Gowda Hospital and then to Medinova hospital. He was on bed for 3-4 months and was sent to home saying, "lets see for 6 more months". Its almost 5 years, but nothing has changed for him. He got surgery for 5 times in those 4 months stay in hospital. He was then suggested with Aurvedic, Homeopathy, Acupuntcher physiotherapy, etc etc by some acquaintances. With the hope, they have done all the things. For aurvedic, they went to two hospitals, spent 2 months each and was told that the doctors are dragging the issue, without telling them the final result. They are still using the homeopathy medicines which will come to them via post if they send the required amount. After all these frustrations, once in November, 2004, he saw a news in ETV Kannada, about this hospital in Beijing, China, where he saw the patients after the surgery were able to walk on their own. Naturally people like Vishal will get hope. So they have contacted them via an email, sent them the CT scan reports and got the date for the operation. The operation costs 20k to 25k USD and there are 70% of cases who got some improvement in their life styles. But this hospital mentioned that we need to make sure about diagnosing the case completely and come there or else the ticket costs will be wasted. For raising the funds, he came across an article in news paper, where a small guy got the required amount for his heart operation, when he created a website. So they went to some guy near by asked him for creating the website, he charged 5.5k for the website and still charging Rs.50 for every update and is not giving the password to any one. The observations I made out of Vishal's case are as follows: 1. They don't have complete details of the hospitals which will cure his condition. Even the hospitals like Medinova, hasn't suggested any hospitals for cure. 2. They have consulted all the hospitals, what every "pathy" it is (allo, homeo etc) in and around Mysore only. 3. One thing for sure is when ever the patients visit a hospital, they will see for instant results, this statement I am making out of my personal life. 4. When they are not seeing any improvement from different medicines other than allopathy, they don't have confidence in any of them. 5. When Vishal, saw the patients walking after the surgery in china hospital, he got the complete hope that he can also walk. Other points I would like to share with you guys: 1. Asking them why they haven't enquired about any local hospitals is a bad question, as if there are any, a hospital like medinova might have suggested them. 2. If we people know about some hospital, we can suggest it to him, but we can't make sure that he will get the same hope that he got w.r.t china hospital as he personally seen them. 3. But one point which scares me a lot is, the hospital people over there in china, has asked to diagnose completely before leaving to China, but I don't think Vishal have done all these things. I will consult any neurologist with the reports and let you people know about that, in the mean while any others can also do it. 4. The guy who developed the website is still charging, we should throw some light over this issue. 5. He knows CAD, he is comfortable working from home, if any requirements please consider our hero. 6. His father who was working in police department, got retired in march and died on April 1st 2006. 7. Enquire about the hospital in New Delhi, what they can offer and if they consider this case or not. We require the complete details. I have one frnd in AIIMS Delhi and I will enquire with him about this. Circulate this case to all your acquaintances and let the money contributions wont stop, We will also see if we can see for the alternatives as a side by side option. ============================ Also we have the reports with us. Hello Friends, Tomorrow (sunday morning IST) some of the MAD members - Pavan Pyda, Raghuvamsi, Subrahmanyam Mula are going to Mysore to visit Mr. Vishal and give him moral support. We are not directly collecting funds for him. But we are forwarding this case to as many friends and colleagues and other organizations as possible. So far, one of our TP members, Vamsee Pratyahari showed interest. He will be contributing 500$ for Vishal. Through MAD group, we also will contribute. How much we haven't yet decided. As operation is in November, we are interested to spare some amount, from our monthly contributions, every month and then will give in October. Thank you.

From that time whole my life collapsed, Resulting in almost- total death of my entire system I lost both Movement & Sensation (paralysis) of legs without control over my bladder & bowel (PARAPLEGIA). I stayed for three and half months in the hospital. Because of my poor financial condition my company paid for my operations at DG Hospital. From past 5 years I am disable, bedridden and completely depended on my old parents for all my daily activities like Bedwetting etc etc.....
