| Guntur City can be developed into a very beautiful and clean city with a sufficient financial budget by the rural development & local administration deptt of the state government. It has all the infrastructure required for the development. It stands as an international town because of the tobacco crop of the ditrict. Many foreigners are visiting the town regularly and there are many lodges to accomodate them. These importers expect some facilities and many rich chowdharies here can invest plenty to construct beautiful lodges with all facilities and almost equal to some of the medium lodges in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Nagpur, Poona etc so that we can invite foreigners to visit Guntur and complete their import work connected to tobacco and turmeric crops. Guntur has all advantages but it needs a lady person by name Smt Panchumarthi Anuradha BA, who served as the Lady Mayor of Vijayawada, who is responsible for the tremendous change she brought in Vijayawada during her being as the Lady Mayor of Vijayawada. The then CM Chandrababu Naidu, gave her all the freedom to go ahead with her programmes to implement which ultimately resulted in broadened Karl Marx Road, MG Road, Besant Road, Byepass Road, Kanaka Durga Temple approach Road, APSRTC Road and lanes, removal of unhealthy and unhygenic slums all across the river banks etc.

I am from Guntur.
For livin its pretty good with fresh water and all but there are no hangout spots. There is the park outside the city which couples go to get away from gazing crowds but I dont see any place where a group of friends or a family could go and have fun.
Also there are no gyms.
