The editor of Tamil daily Dina Malar, Lenin was arrested yesterday for publishing a statement issued by television actress Bhuvaneshwari in which she had made some allegations against several top Tamil film industry stars. Dina Malar had claimed that Bhuvaneshwari had been arrested recently on charges of prostitution and had named some of Kollywood stars as her clients in her confession statement.
The daily had published the article on 4 October as police confessions of Bhuvaneswari who was arrested under the immoral trafficking Act. In the article, the daily has published the photos of Seetha, Nalini, Namitha, Manjula, Vineela, etc and claimed that the list was given by Bhvaneswari during the interrogation of police.
