Hi Snehalatha garu, M.Tech project and work valla chaala kaalam tharavatha log in ayanu. Meeru anatu mother tongue anedhi correct. not only us Indians anedhi correct e. Westerns ani nenu type chesindi wrong. Nenu chesey work MS office lo. Akkada auto correct option alavatu ayyi konni mistakes nenu kuda chestuna. Kani ippudu British English kana American English e usage lo vunadhi. Internet viral avatam tho aa language kuda anthey spread aindhi. Ippudu nenu edaina content British English lo raasthey, employer malli thirigi naakey pampisthadu, American English lo raayamani. UK English lo raayamani adigey valu chala chala rare. May be 1 out of 100 or even less.

I used the correct spelling (mother-tongue) and not tounge.

Your third sentence is wrong.
You say ' not only us Indians' (it should be 'not only we the Indians').
Westerns is wrong. It should be 'not only the westerners'.
Internet English is dirty English.
British people do not commit mistakes while speaking or writing English. It is the Americans who use 'yankee English'.
In New Delhi everyday we receive teachers from many English speaking countries viz. USA UK Canada Australia, New Zealand
and we will be very careful in speaking English with them. Generally we do recruit lady teachers with BEd/MEd degrees and who studied in English medium only from LKG to PG level.

Mam, I beg to differ with you. Both the words "mother-tounge" and "MOTHER-TOUNGE" are wrong. The correct one is "Mother-Tounge". There are many such words in usage without respecting the grammar. Not only us Indians, but Westerns too do not follow the exact grammar during casual talk or usage. You will find number of grammar mistakes in comment sections at various websites. And in internet slang, you cannot even find the correct spellings of many words. Examples, 'from' changes to 'frm', 'have' to 'hv', 'you' to 'u', 'there' to 'der', etc.

MOTHER-TONGUE is correct.
Every Andhra is fond of English today. Somehow they want to make their presence prominent in a group of Telugus. Therefore they do not mind to commit mistakes while writing, reading, speaking. This only makes my Tamil friends laugh at our Andhras in New Delhi during interviews. The flow of English is said to be excellent when Mr R Venkataraman, ex-President speaks in Parliament. When our ex-President Neelam Sanjiva Reddy (my distance relative) speaks English, the whole area will burst with high range laugh.
Do you remember your Ex-CM Sri Anjayya Garu. When a local Malayali man greeted Anjayya ' wish you a happy Birth day' immediately your Anjayya said 'wish you the same'.

మనదేశంలోనే కొన్ని చోట్ల తెలుగు మాటలని ఇంగ్లీషులోవ్రాసుకొనడం గమనించాను.
ముందుతరాలవారు తెలుగులో వ్రాయడం చదవడం మర్చిపోయే ప్రమాదం వుందేమో అని అనిపిస్తోంది ఎక్కువస్కూళ్ళు ఇంగ్లీషు భాషకే అధికప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తూండడంవల్ల.
ఇంతకీ No One here from Vijayawada అన్న ఈశీర్షికకు ఇంతవరకు జరిగిన సంభాషణలకు పొంతనకుదరలేదనిపిస్తోంది
మరి ఎందుకు అడిగారు విజయవాడనుంచి ఎవరూ లేరా అని?

@ Mrs. Snehalatha Madhavakrishna Reddy, Hinglish, LOL! I never had interest in hearing the speeches of politicians, but I firmly believe what you said about Chidambaram is right. Tamilians are like Chinese, they learn very quickly and make their presence felt in any field.

Nekkanti Nitin Chandra is correct in few places here. I never talked about the standard of English of northerners. Their English is Hinglish which too lousy to speak and listen. Some people call it as latrine English (since it smells). My point of view is only to enlighten that the level of English by the local Tamil candidates is better than that of Telugus of A.P. State.My practical interviews only make me to come to this conclusion.
In Parliament the English language used by Minister Chidambaram is far better than that of our Lagadapati of Vijayawada. But English spoken by Smt Purandeswari is also better since she is one who studied English Language&Literature in her BA in SIET College in Chennai while she was residing in Mowbrays Road with her daddy NTR. It is her education in Chennai (TN) made her speak English well.
I suggest all my Telugu friends first to adopt to English Grammar from the books Wren & Martin English Grammar available in Chennai Higginbothams.
