General Forum: My Motherland | | can we afford a war at this moment? | |
| I belive that a war is never affordable.... it always has bad results......and its never a solution.
The major problem we are facing is infiltration. Not the Pakistan. (They may have some commanality but certainly very different).So to solve the "infiltration" if we say we are going to declare war against Pakistan...its certainly doesn't make any sense; just because, we are deviating from the real problem. Even if we fight the war the terrorist activities are not going to lessen. The reason is as simple as - the other country doesn't bother anything about its people but targets the neighbour. It shifts the money it is spending for its people to these terrorist activities.I dont think the war is a solution.
SO whats the solution?????
That is what precisely our govt is doing. yeah!!! they are making themselves prepared for war... but there will not be war...not a huge scale war as we are all fearing, forget about the nuclear war..... this a diplomatic way to bring stress on Pak from the international community. We are halfway through. The same trick we had been using from the Sept 11. If we really had an intention of war, we would have done the very next day there were attacks on our parliament. But its true that there will be a "small scale war". This is again to grab the attention of international community. If we observe our moves these days, we can see this easily.
Yeah!!! I know I am not an astrologer to predict what my govt is thinking and how its going to react - without giving a logical reasoning....but I read this somewhere.
so there is nothing to worry. cool!

U are wrong.China yesterday told it wont suppourt any country and try defuse tensions.And usa have more intersts on india as india has big global market.so i think usa wont support pakistan at all.and other thing is if china supports pakistan usa wont suppourt.so i think its waste to see for another foolish attact in indian soil."

India is not a land of cowards madam.enoguh sacrifices and patinece.now the time is to take action but nothing else.

Ok .let think this way.If we dont do war and let them allow to inflirate more terrorists in to our land.one day they will kill u me and all.U may tell y cant we stop those coming inside.As u told some people in our country helps them to get inside.There will be always crooks around us doing such things in one r the other reason.I think thats impossible task to stop them coming inside.Even the hifi intelligence in usa cant stopped september 11th right.
So i think the only solution is hit back enemy so that he never see at u again.
Actually this problem might solved a long back by those givts.But they didnt for some political mileage.Now there is no solution for this.Onnly solution war war war....

Its okay,Vijai,we can't always spare the enemy by fearing about the consequences.
but as far as the infiltration of the terrorists and ISI is concerned,we can find a solution.It is not possible for an alien to come directly in to our country and do massacre unless they are been given shelter and assistance by some of the people of our own country.thats how the terrorists are able to continue their operations.I heard that the politicians are using them for their political benefits,knowingly or unknowingly.They create the destabilization of governments by doing heinous crimes.

It is accepted that safety of the people should be the top priority than the economy.but thinking in another way,what if the loss of war is huge?(in case pak uses nukes)if that is going to take the lives of many people,who can be said to have the battle won ultimately?
A note to my dear telugus:I am asking these questions just to clear my doubts.But not to argue or win an argument.

What u told is true.But how long we can bare.For everything there is a limit.We r not gandhi's to show another cheek if they slap in one.Some day we have to resolve this problem.With out doing war we lost half lakh people till now.When enemy is not even comaprable to us y should we fear.Everybody thinking pakisthan may use Nukes.But if that is the case they might used in kargil conflict.Modern war will be more disasterous.But when there is no solution for a issue we have to close the issue.And only way to close this kasmir issue is by doing war.
Becasue pakisthan never change there mind.And india never leaves kasmir.
But india should plan for every consequnces before going to war.

Hi all,
India is obviously the more powerful country than Pakistan in strength of Army and other defense issues.But for India,the fact is that its a developing country and this is a crucial stage as it is becoming a key player in global economy by improving in many sectors.Where as for Pakistan,which is already neck-deep in to troubles of poverty and extremism,it may not make any difference.

Moreover,I read somewhere that the Pakistan army is having a very irrational approach to wage a war.
